Lettuce

Constant-yield lettuce garden

Every four days one square foot is planted and one is harvested.  36 days from seed to harvest. The blue/red light balance is varied through the growing cycle to achieve optimum results. Since only vegetative growth is desired, the plants are placed under red light exclusively for the final 12 days  in order to increase the yield.

NOTE: Our current lights are twice as powerful as these!
